Bowling is one of our most popular sports. Bowlers roll a bowling ball down a wooden or synthetic lane with the objective of scoring points by knocking down as many bowling pins as possible.
It is a particularly beneficial sport to people with intellectual disabilities, irrespective of their age or sports abilities, since it ensures physical exercise and at the same time participation and social integration. Although there are some modifications made for athletes with physical disabilities, most athletes compete under the same rules and circumstances as athletes on a professional tour.
Bowling begins in Manassas on Saturday, September 10th, 12:30 PM at Bowl America, 9000 Mathis Ave, Manassas, VA 20110. Woodbridge Bowling starts on Sunday, September 18th, 1:30 PM at Bowl America, 13409 Occoquan Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22191.
