Bowling is one of our most popular sports. Bowlers roll a bowling ball down a wooden or synthetic lane with the objective of scoring points by knocking down as many bowling pins as possible.
It is a particularly beneficial sport to people with intellectual disabilities, irrespective of their age or sports abilities, since it ensures physical exercise and at the same time participation and social integration. Although there are some modifications made for athletes with physical disabilities, most athletes compete under the same rules and circumstances as athletes on a professional tour.
Bowling in Manassas is on Saturdays, 12:30 PM at Bowl America, 9000 Mathis Ave, Manassas, VA 20110. Woodbridge Bowling is on Sundays, 1:15 PM at Bowl America, 13409 Occoquan Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22191.
